Colophon
“Colophon” comes from the Greek “κολοφων,” meaning ‘a summit,’ ‘top,’ ‘finishing.’ It is a description of the details and methods behind a publication, often found on the last few pages of a book.
Design and Development
Neoteric Design redesigned the Clark Street brand and site in the Spring of 2009. Neoteric redesigns websites with a focus on customer needs, site goals, ease of use and engaging design.
Typography
The Clark Street logo makes use of Futura Bold and Futura Book. Page titles and subtitles are set in Helvetica Neue. The primary navigation for the site is set in Futura Bold and body text uses Helvetica.
Technical
We used Illustrator, Photoshop, and TextMate to create this site, and content is maintained using Movable Type 4. The site is authored using structural XHTML, and complies with the 1.0 transitional web standards as set by the W3C.
